Our story

The art market is broken.
We're fixing it.

For too long, galleries and platforms have taken 40–50% of every sale. Artists pour their lives into their work and keep barely half. Muse Collection exists to change that — permanently.

"To make it possible for artists to earn a living from their art. The economics of art sales are broken — we fix that by taking only 15% and building every feature around artist success, not platform growth."

Why we built Muse

We kept hearing the same story from artists. A painting sells for $800. The gallery takes $400. The artist pays for their own framing, their own shipping materials, their own studio time — and walks away with less than they need to make the next work.

The internet was supposed to fix this. Instead, the big art platforms built a different kind of gate: high listing fees, anonymous storefronts, and algorithms that bury human stories under price filters.

Muse Collection is different by design. Every artist gets a real branded storefront — their name, their story, their URL. Every collector sees the person behind the work before they see the price. And every sale splits 85% to the artist, 15% to us. That's it.

What we believe

Built on three principles

01

Artists keep what they earn

15% commission is not a compromise — it's a commitment. The platform exists to serve artists, not extract from them. We only grow when artists grow.

02

Human stories sell art

Collectors buy the person as much as the work. Every profile gives artists space to tell their story — their studio, their practice, their inspiration. Story is infrastructure, not decoration.

03

Collectors deserve to know what they're buying

Original, hand-made, one-of-a-kind. Every work on Muse Collection is exactly what it says it is — made by the artist selling it, with a real story behind it.
